We produce two-dimensional laser-cut products made from Nomex 410 paper, Mylar, Kapton used for insulators and slot liners. Part size is up to 12 by 24 inches and we do short runs when only a few pieces are needed for prototypes or small production runs. Nomex® 410 paper is calendered and available in thicknesses from 0.05mm to 0.76mm. The thicknesses of 7, 10, 12, 15, and 20 mil are normally in stock and available for immediate cutting, and 3, 5, and 30 mil material can be cut with a 10-day lead time. A critical factor in the reduction of the life of electrical equipment is heat and the type of insulation used. Nomex® 410 is rated as a class H (220°C) insulator by Underwriters laboratories (U.S.A), Lloyds register of shipping (England), American Bureau of shipping (U.S.A) Military specification MIL-1-24204 (U.S.A). Nomex® 410 paper is a high-temperature resistant insulator with an excellent balance of physical and electrical properties, that has high inherent dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility and resilience. Nomex® 410 paper is made entirely from synthetic aramid polymer in two forms: short fibers (floc), and microscopic fibrous binder particles (fibrids), it is a calendered cream-colored insulation paper consisting of discontinuous synthetic aramid fibres (floc + fibrids) which are bonded together by hot calendering. Uses include electrical insulation for motors, generators, and liquid and dry transformers. Product applications include high-temperature, solvent-resistant gaskets, dielectric spacers, and insulators. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sil-Pad products from Bergquist are materials used in the electronics industry as thermally conductive insulators. In their many forms, they are clean and efficient alternatives to mica, ceramics or grease. Sil-Pad materials have excellent thermal performance and eliminate the need for messy grease, and they are more durable than mica. Often used for making high-performance insulators and thermal conductors. SIL-PAD K10 is combination of Kapton MT type polyimide film with a boron nitride reinforced silicon elastomer. They replace ceramic insulators, especially when mechanical resistance is required with risks of breaking minimized, and very good electrical insulation behavior. ---------- Chipboard is used as spacers, shock absorbers, insolation, and shipping protection. Our standard chipboard is 22 mils thick. ---------- Neoprene ---------- KLINGERSIL C-4401 Universal gasket material for use in a wide range of applications KLINGERSIL C-4401 is a universal gasket material for use in a wide range of applications. The general purpose gasket material has excellent sealability and chemical resistance. This material is manufactured with aramid fiber reinforced with a nitrile binder. ------------ We also cut and engrave bi-laminated plastics, which are commonly engraved [sublimated] for use as very durable machine labels, equipment operating instructions and special informational signs. These parts can be made from a wide selection of two color composites using materials suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. Corner rounding and punched holes are provided when desired.
